Olivia joined Tiddlywinks in April 2026 with 16 years of early years experience.
As well as an experienced Early Years Educator Olivia has had management experience and wanted to refine these skills after being on maternity leave with her second child. Olivia is approachable, motivated and focused on building strong relationships with children and families as well as providing inspirational childcare across the setting. Olivia’s experience in previous setting allows her to bring new ideas whilst upholding Tiddlywinks high standards to ensure that the Tiddlywinks children meet their milestones and next steps on their early years journey.
In her spare time Olivia is mum of two beautiful children and enjoys going on days out especially when she find a new place to visit!

Ella re-joined Tiddlywinks in May 2026 as our Baby Room Manager and Assistant manager.
Having originally started as a student with us in 2017 Ella has returned to Tiddlywinks following a spell in the Ambulance service where she developed her skills to enable her to return as part of the management team. She is calm, organized, and patient, with a nurturing personality and a passion for building bonds with children in their first stages of life. Ella enjoys working with the baby room children understanding how important it is to provide a warm and caring environment to allow our youngest children to form strong attachments with their key person in turn allowing them to thrive and explore the environment around them .
In her spare time Ella enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Emily Joined Tiddlywinks in April 2026 as our Toddler Room lead bringing a depth of knowledge from the Steiner philosophy.
Emily moved from New Zealand to York in 2020 to be closer to her family in Newcastle. With experience across various areas of Early Years education,. Emily is particularly passionate about nature and following the rhythm of the seasons and is excited to be completing her SENCO training whilst here at Tiddlyiwnks.
In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, baking, gardening at her cottage, reading, and taking countryside walks with friends.

Helen has been the Chef at Tiddlywinks since May 2016. She prepares fresh nutritious and delicious meals for the children every day.
Helen also enjoys baking with the children and preparing celebratory meals as part of different festivals and cultures. Helen’s kitchen continuously achieves a 5-star food hygiene rating, she was also involved in helping the nursery to achieve the Gold award from NYCC for ‘Healthy children’ in Early Years. All the children love Helen’s cooking, and parents are always pleasantly surprised to hear what their children have eaten at nursery! Helen works in partnership with Sue the catering Manager to produce seasonal nutritiously balanced menus for the children to enjoy..

Freya joined us from York college in July 2022 after passing her Level 3 in Childcare.
Freya works full time in our baby room and loves to watch and encourage the children develop and grow through their early years and gain confidence in the world around them. Freya also enjoys learning and implementing Makaton within the baby room and uses it during Circle time with all the children. Freya particularly loves messy play and encouraging the children to use their senses to explore the world around them.
Outside of Work Freya enjoys socialising with friends,long walks and baking.

Madi started at Tiddlywinks as a Level 2 practitioner in April 2021 and has since completed her Level 3 Childcare qualification.
Madi enjoys working in the baby room, nurturing the children’s development and using her imagination to extend their interests with a range of activities across all areas of the EYFS. Madi particularly likes reading stories and bringing them to life using puppets, props and music. She is a very calming presence and gives the best cuddles!
In her spare time Madi like too spend time with her family, go on long walks and camping.

Hallie joined us as an Apprentice in 2021 and and then relocated to a different county, happily she then returned to us after moving back to Easingwold in 2023.
Halle loves working with eary years children as they are at their most receptive and Hallie believes being a positive role model is imperative in their development, she feels its important to work in partnership with parents to enable the children to get the best out of their early years journey. Hallie enjoys getting messy in the our large outdoor area with the children. In her spare time Hallie loves to take her son to the park and introduce him to the world of shopping!

Joelyne is our toddler room supervisor. She joined Tiddlywinks in October 2015 having worked for the previous owners for many years.
Joelyne works as the room leader in the Little Acorns room with our toddlers, she also regularly works with the babies in Little Saplings building bonds with the babies who will transition into her toddler room and nurturing. Joelyne is a very calm and patient practitioner who has a very nurturing nature, this approach helps the children develop their confidence, independence and self-esteem which are key elements for learning. Joelyne particularly enjoys messy play and exploring natural resources, helping children discover the world around them.
Outside of work Joelyne enjoys socialising with friends at concerts and festivals and spending time with her family, she also enjoys learning about animals and visiting Chester Zoo

April is a Level 2 practitioner in childcare and is working towards her Level 3. April has lots of experience in the great outdoors and in running forest school sessions.
April works in the Mighty Oaks and is instrumental in the organisation and quality of our outdoor provision. April loves teaching the children all about the great outdoors using her forest school knowledge and skills, all the children thoroughly enjoy Aprils calm and quiet approach.
April enjoys learning new skills in her spare time, as well as playing musical instruments, climbing, woodwork and skateboarding.

Stacey started with us here at Tiddlywinks in March 2025.
Stacey gained her qualification in 2013 and has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the childcare sector. Stacey has enjoys the outdoor environment of Tiddlywinks Easingwold and being able to support children’s development through nature based experiences. Stacey enjoys working across all rooms but in particular pre school offering opportunities for children to engage in forest school activities such as den building and camp fires offering the opportunity for children to engage in deep play, develop children’s social skills and well being whilst providing endless opportunity for creative and meaningful learning across all areas of the EYFS.
Stacey in her spare time enjoys cooking, spending time with her friends and going on days out with her two boys and family.

Joanne is our pre-school room supervisor and assistant manager at Tiddlywinks Easingwold.
She joined us in October 2015, having previously worked at the York nursery since 2006, starting as a college student and working her way up to a management role. Joanne works closely with the toddler room children, supporting their transition into the pre-school room, as well as working closely with our feeder schools to support children transitioning into Reception year. Joanne is an accredited Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) and works closely with outside agencies to give children the best possible support and allow them to achieve to the best of their abilities. She loves DIY and being creative, inspiring awe and wonder across the EYFS. She is also mum to a beautiful son.

Evie joined Tiddlywinks with us during her college course on a long term placement and following her placement she started with us full time in May 2025
Evie has enjoyed continuing to work with us over the summer across all of our rooms. Evie enjoys particularly planning activities in the role play and small world area help to develop children’s imagination and communication and language skills all through play. Evie likes the endless possibilities and opportunities to extend children’s play, learning and curiosities in these areas. Evie enjoys working at Tiddlywinks because she likes supporting children’s development and watching them grow in a stimulating, engaging and outdoor environment.
When Evie is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and taking her dogs on long walks.

We are delighted to welcome Shyann back to Tiddlywinks who gained her level 3 qualification with us as an Apprentice.
Shyann is committed to delivering high quality childcare from her interactions with the children, providing an environment that creates awe and wonder to ensuring that the children build positive bonds and relationships with their friends and the staff in a busy toddler room.
In her spare time Shyann enjoys cleaning, spending time with her family and friends as well as long dog walks with her dog Frank.

Isabelle joined Tiddlywinks in 2026 to undertake her Early years apprenticeship.
Isabelle wanted to join Early Years to make a difference to young children and help them to learn and grow. Isabelle is enjoying all aspect of her apprenticeship and working across all age groups. Currently Isabelle is enjoying working in babies, She finds it rewarding to see babies reach their earliest milestones. Isabelle is looking forward to learning more about the early years and applying her knowledge first hand in her work.
Outside of work, she enjoys shopping and taking walks with friends.

Jasmine joined us in March 2026 looking to start her career in childcare.
Jasmine brings a lovely sense of calm to our Toddler room where she is currently based and is a positive role model to the children she is caring for. Jasmine enjoys planning activities in particular messy play allow children to use their senses to explore the world around them. However, she also enjoys watching them play and providing opportunities to build and extend their learning in small world and role play.
Outside of nursery Jasmine enjoys travelling and spending time with her friends and family.

Annabeth started her Early years Career with us in 2025 with her Early Years Apprenticeship- Level 3.
Annabeth like all our Apprentices will work across all rooms to develop her understanding of Early Years in particular supporting children to thrive on their early years journey ensuring that they meet their milestones. Annabeth enjoys sensory play- supporting young children to explore the world around them using their senses and offering an opportunity for deep play. She also enjoys singing songs with the children to develop their communication and language at the earliest opportunity.
Her hobbies include sports and reading outside of work.

Megan started at Tiddlywinks on her placement as a T-Level student but enjoyed learning whilst in setting so she transferred to an apprentice with us here at Tiddlywinks.
Megan is currently based in our Pre-school room and she enjoys the many conversations she has each day with the children to find out more about their interest and to be able to stretch and challenge the children on the early years journey.
Megan particularly enjoys sensory play as she feels it allows the children to be engrossed in their play and learning at the same time without realising.
In her spare time Megan enjoys spending time with her friends and watching shows in the West End.
