Tiddlywinks nursery Easingwold is located in a large Georgian building in the town centre and boasts attractive, bright and welcoming rooms. The nursery is characterised by a fabulous outdoor space, including a covered outdoor classroom, which enables us to follow an enriching forest school approach to early years education.
Centre of excellence for outdoor learning
Children spend much of their time outdoors, all year round, engaging in exploration and discovery while enjoying a wide range of games and activities. Our highly qualified nursery professionals have particular expertise in outdoor provision. Our Easingwold nursery has even been used by North Yorkshire County Council as a centre of excellence for outdoor nursery provision.
Equipped for adventures every day
The resources and activities we provide outdoors include science and maths provision, water play, mud kitchen, construction area, climbing frame, outdoor kitchen and dining area, and much more. We make our own fires and cook our tea outdoors. We venture outside in the dark and in all weathers, making the best use of our wonderful fresh-air facilities.

Easingwold nursery is proud to have been awarded Gold in North Yorkshire’s Healthy Awards for early years, as well as the gold award for healthier choices and a 5-star food hygiene rating.
