Amber Harrison
Pre School Room Lead and Early Years Educator

Amber has joined Tiddlywinks to be part of our Pre school team in Roosters.

Amber brings a wealth of experience from previous early years settings and is excited to share her knowledge of the EYFS with the Tiddlywinks team. She is particularly passionate about outdoor learning and Forest School approaches, helping pre-school children thrive through exploration and adventure. Amber is also dedicated to supporting children with SEN, ensuring every child can flourish on their early years journey while building strong partnerships with parents. In her spare time, Amber enjoys being outdoors in all weathers and spending time with her family and two children.

Chloe Richardson
Little Hatchlings Room Lead and Early Years Educator

Chloe joined Tiddlywinks as an Early years Educator and room lead of our baby room for our younger children- Little Hatchlings.

Chloe brings a wealth of nursery and early years experience to Tiddlywinks, specialising in baby care and early development. As Little Hatchlings Room Lead, she is excited to support her team and create a high-quality environment that promotes secure routines, stimulating learning experiences and a range of pedagogical approaches tailored to the youngest children. Outside of work, Chloe enjoys caring for her nephew and loves adrenaline-filled hobbies such as off-roading in Land Rovers.

Clayton Hill
Early Years Apprentice

Clayton Joins Tiddlywinks as an Early years Apprentice with the intention of gaining his Early Years Teaching qualification with Tiddlywinks in the future.

Clayton joins Tiddlywinks as a Level 3 Early Years Apprentice with a strong desire to become an Early Years Teacher. He believes physical play is essential for children’s development, confidence and curiosity, and is passionate about being a positive male role model within the nursery. Clayton is particularly excited to contribute to outdoor learning, creating enriching environments where children can explore, take risks and grow. Outside of work, he enjoys attending football matches with friends, spending time with his family and relaxing with his cat, Paprika.

Donna Crawford
Early Years Educator

Donna joined Tiddlywinks in 2025 as an Early Years Educator

Donna joined Tiddlywinks in 2025 as an Early Years Educator and loves nurturing the children in Hatchlings, helping them grow through exciting activities and high-quality care routines. As a mum of four, Donna brings warmth, patience and understanding to her role, ensuring every child feels happy, safe and valued. She enjoys providing regular updates to parents so they feel part of their child’s day, and is passionate about creating a secure space where little ones can learn and play. Outside of work, Donna loves movie nights, long walks with her dogs and spending time outdoors.

Ella Brooks
Senior Early Years Educator and Deputy Room Lead - Fledglings

Ella joined us as a supply member of staff, but enjoyed her time here so much that she decided to stay. Ella brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Boroughbridge having previously worked at the York site.

Ella joined us full time after passing her A levels she then completed her apprenticeship with us in record time to gain her Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification. Ella brings kindness, calmness and creativity to her work and loves to display her passion for arts and craft around the nursery, she is highly organised and loves nothing more than setting up activities to allow the children to express themselves through art and messy play. When she is not at work, Ella also enjoys reading and making Lego models as well as taking her miniature Dachshund Frank for a walk.

Frankie Charlish
Early Years Apprentice

Frankie is an Apprentice in our Baby Room and provides a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment for the children in the Hatchlings Room.

Frankie brings a bubbly and enthusiastic personality to the Hatchlings team, creating a warm, stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. She is excited to begin her Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience in the room, and looks forward to implementing new ideas from her studies. Frankie loves planning fun activities across all EYFS areas and enjoys spending time with friends, family and staying active outside of work.

Jo Gault
Nursery Chef

Jo is our Nursery Chef and enjoys cooking up a storm in the kitchen to provide delicious and nutritious meals for all of our children and families.

Jo’s extensive experience as a chef in the hospitality industry ensures that all meals at Tiddlywinks are prepared to the highest standard—nutritious, delicious and fully compliant with statutory and food safety guidelines. She loves being creative in the kitchen and developing new recipes packed with goodness, working closely with Catering Manager Sue Ellery to design seasonal menus.  Jo especially enjoys catering for events and celebrations in the Nursery. Outside of work, Jo enjoys baking, walking her dogs and watching Rugby League, especially the York Knights.

Karen Jameson
Pre School Curriculum Lead and Early Years Educator

Karen started at Tiddlywinks in May 2025 and is passionate about providing a curious and stimulating environment to ensure that high quality provision and activities are available for the children in her care.

Karen brings energy, passion and a wealth of experience to her role as Pre-School Room Lead. A proud mum of two boys, she values high-quality childcare from daily routines through to teaching and learning across the EYFS. Karen believes strongly in parent partnerships and open communication to support the children in her care. She enjoys gardening and spending time in Northumberland, particularly watching the puffins and seals.

Lauren Gault
Junior Assistant Manager - Boroughbridge and Hatchlings Room Lead

Lauren has many years of childcare experience. Before she joined the Tiddlywinks team in 2016, she worked as a nanny in London for two years and prior to that as our baby room lead at our York Nursery for 9 years.

Lauren is passionate about her role as our baby room supervisor. She oversees the daily running of the room, ensuring we provide exciting and stimulating activities for the children. She also supports and trains the team of four staff with positivity and enthusiasm.

In her spare time Lauren enjoys baking, and is renowned for making the best cheesecakes and truffles. She also enjoys exploring new places and spending time with family and friends.

Molly Gillespie
Early Years Educator level 3

Molly has joined Tiddlywink's as a qualified practitioner after completing her qualification at college.

Molly joins Tiddlywinks after gaining experience in hospitality and completing her Early Years qualification at York College. Naturally warm and people-focused, Molly discovered her passion for early years through supporting children to feel safe, happy and confident in all areas of their development. She enjoys building strong relationships with families through her key person role and loves planning exciting, innovative activities—especially sensory and messy play that sparks curiosity. In her spare time, Molly enjoys being with her family, friends and her horse, Buddy.

Molly Humphrey
Early Years Educator

Molly started Tiddlywinks as an apprentice before gaining her qualification with us in 2025.

Molly started at Tiddlywinks Boroughbridge as our Level 3 Apprentice in the Baby Room (Fledglings). She began working in early years after having her son and has recently reached her end point assessment to gain her qualification. As a mum herself Molly brings warmth, empathy and understanding to her role which shines through with her interactions with the children treating them all as if they were her own. With hands on experience both personally and professional having come from another childcare setting Molly is passionate about creating a calm, nurturing environment where each child feels secure, safe and happy. Molly is looking forward to utilising her knowledge of child development, early communication and emotional wellbeing to the role. Molly is passionate about developing her knowledge and understanding of early years and ensuring that children are provided with a broad and balanced curriculum on their early years journey experiencing a range of pedagogical influences to support children’s holistic development.  Molly in her spare times enjoys spending time with er little boy and family as they enjoy being outdoors and going on days out together.

Natalie Brown
Early Years Apprentice

Natalie joined Tiddlywinks as an apprentice in September 2025 and she is excited to develop her knowledge of child development to support children on their early years journey.

Natalie joins Tiddlywinks from the health and care sector, driven by her long-standing passion for having a positive impact on young children’s lives. With a degree in Counselling and Mental Health, she brings a strong understanding of emotional wellbeing and is committed to supporting children to grow into confident, happy individuals. Natalie is excited to begin her studies in child development and use her learning to guide children through key early years milestones. Outside of work, she enjoys peaceful walks, sunrises and sunsets, music and spending time with her dog, Bonnie.

Stephanie Grange
Early Years Apprentice

Steph is one of our Early Years apprentices here at Tiddlywinks and brings lots of enthusiasm to the role.

Steph has joined the Tiddlywinks team as an apprentice in our Baby (Fledglings) room. Stephanie has joined us following a career in the care sector. Steph has enjoyed transitioning to Early years from the care sector having had her own little one and she loves providing lots of fun, diverse and engaging activities for little ones to get involved with more mess the better being Steph’s motto! As our baby rooms interests change so rapidly Steph enjoys planning different events and activities to complement these interests whilst ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met and nurtured in our baby room. Steph is enthusiastic and eager to start her apprenticeship to develop her understanding of child development and bring new ideas and approaches to the role.

Susanna Martin
Early Years Apprentice

Susanna joins Tiddlywinks as an Early years apprentice with aspirations to complete her Early Years teaching qualification.

Susanna joins the early years sector with a background in Biomedical Science and experience in the pharmaceutical field, but her true passion lies in supporting children to learn and grow. Currently completing her Level 3 Early Years qualification, she hopes to progress to her Early Years Teacher status in the future. Susanna loves discovering children’s interests and planning activities that challenge, extend and support their learning. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting and long walks with her husband.
